HAHHAHAHHA. todays lunch with carol, yitong, ryu and gen was SOOO awesome! we were laughing non stop about such stupid stuff i personally don't think we are in the 6th form. HEEE HEEE HEEE.
one thing i have to clarify is.....IT DID NOT START FROM ME.

so we started out being indecisive. where to eat? what to eat? who to eat with? LOL. in the end. we eat at khaleel's althought yitong and ryu do not eat spicy food, they chose a nasi kandar?! go figure. me i brought tuna sandwich, carol goes on diet while gen kill us with GERMANY made kitkats and apparently death bringing oreos with SO MUCH CREAM *yum yum*
I honestly am not sure how it started. But this is what I recall. It is not EXACTLY what we said. but this is how i imagine it to be. correct me if i'm wrong pls.

EARLIER in the morning

Earlier than the week before, we play badminton again. SIGHS. mom made me fetch her to the market to buy some goodies which made me - what i thought was - late. But apparently i wasn't! WHEEEEEE.
so anyway, we start by warming up. I play with ryu and my joints feel stiff. and now i sound like an old woman. LOL. watever, we hit hit hit, hit hit hit. when i see yi tong hitting away happily and SMASHING happily. ARGH. i have to learn to do that. and thats what i told our "coach"
Hui Ern : i want to smash
Coach : ok. hit like this.
THINK SO EASY A?
NOOOOO.....we have to hit it infront of us. like same thing, pull the arm back, but don't hit like usual, HIT TO THE FRONT. and this time carry thru the motion of hitting the shuttlecock. once again. THINK SO EASY TO DO A?
nono. but me and janice work it out. and we're ....hmm...so so at it. I think the coach see's that we're bored already so he assigns 2 little kids to play with us. HAH. kids. he is reaaally reallly underestimating us. DAMN. do we look like we suck THAT bad? LOL. anyway, WE WON IN THE END. bwahahahah. so there kids who argue all the time! hehehhe oh no. but the worst was yet to come. we played with 2 other bigger kids that hands apparently tremble to smash. ISH. lucky we managed to suppress it! hee hee.
ah yes. we lost in the end.

People always leave. And this is the week it happens

I feel guilty. I was feeling tired today from school, and really didn't have the energy to go out with friends. ESPECIALLY HYPER FRIENDS LIKE SUBZERO + everyone else. Soooo...i have a confession to make. when goh gi told me she was coming, I was dreading it. I have so much to catch up on in school that I didn't realise that I had friendship to catch up on too. sorry guys. I feel bad, but now i feel good that i went out with u all. I love u all, and i never wanna miss out on a chance to hang out with u ever again. :D
it started out awesome (not that it didn't end awesome ok? haha) talking, laughing, playing like we always do. I kinda envy everyone for being so free when i'm so stressed out cause of sch. but they're energy rubs off on me. and i love it!

And we paint

UES again......this time we do simple things. We break up into 4 groups. The bottle collecting group, the board group, the assembly group and the primary kids games group. i'm in bottle group. It is easier to just finish what you do. So initially we want to "construct" a bottle bin. but we are really really short on time and resources. The teacher talks and we split up somemore into the bottle cleaning group and the bin painting group. I like paint, and I need to brush up on art from the art attack experience so.....i volunteer for the painting one. We paint the bins because its needed to separate primary kids into their houses : Hill Craig & school? I'm not sure about the last one. Will we make it in time? I don't know. Because we almost finished the green one today BUT the fact that it still is unfinished....is....a FACT. lol. we haven't finished it. Maybe thats cause we didn't really have good time management and direction. everyone didn't know what to do!! shit. Yup so i learned something today, we have to plan what to do beforehand to maximise use of time. max max max that ticking time bomb so we don't need to work our butts of later. ISH. and getting dirty? SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. we joined this club. It takes hard work. realise this and activities run smoothly. why don't people get this? I still wonder.
So while we are painting under that BLASTED hot sun shining down on our backs, we paint our time away, mark sweats till he soaks, Iyune paints till she cant help but drip paint all over, I paint till my brush strokes are weird, Gen paints till she argues with Mark, Ivan paints till his gets it on the face and Wouter paints till his lovely shoe turns green. Is that commitment or what? hahahha.
OVERALL : it was a lovely day growing closer with our uplander family :D
and I love Michelle! I really do. She's so honest which is so perfect. and considerate and caring and thoughtful. Look what she got me

Art Attack

I like the date today, seems like I'm actually writing the year in the beginning. haha. Anyway, Highlights of the day was the ECA after school.....ART ATTACK! I have to admit, I was kinda nervous in the beginning, cause I didn't know what to expect from the activity and.....i'm a little scared of kids because of my history of bad experiences.how to handle hyperactive children?! argh >_< but actually...what do we do? Are we supposed to be good in art? Are the kids annoying? hehe. Is it going to be easy? Do we just STAND there and wait for the kids to mess up?
As you can see, many questions running through my mind. BUT, I manage to remain calm on the outside. Haha. Thanks to phuminat and Midori. They're so nice! They make me feel at ease. So we start off with kids running through the door. Attendance taken and we start the activity that Midori planned for CNY. These papers that we cut out of red paper. Its nice and simple, easy for the kids to do and I'll upload a pic of mine when mine is done!
So first, Mrs. Kerr explains how to do the activity. Draw your art on rough pieces of paper and when the year 12's (us) approve of it. Copy on red paper and cut! Easy and simple, midori even gave many examples of what we can draw. Bull/Ox, Dragon, Gold Coins, Cherry Blossom....you know, the basic CNY deco. BUT SHE MISSED THE WORD THAT OCCURS EVERYWHERE DURING CNY. NOOOOOOO!!!! No worries, I will tell the kids who are nice and cute. hahhaa.
So after we passed around rough paper and pencils, the students draw. I see this cute girl staring at her paper so I go to her. She has no idea what to draw so i suggest THE word and SHE TAKES IT!!!!! yessss!!!! Her name is brittany and I like her already :D hahha. I was really happy, I was actually helping people feel better!! yessss....! this is another thing that I like. Anyway, another girl asks me again what to draw. I throw suggestions at her, cherry blossom? no. bull? no. pot of gold? no. lantern? ok. but what about the rest of the picture? emm.....so i finally dig out that she wants to draw a tiger. SHIT. she asks me how, and I really don't know. One more thing to brush up on, quick thinking and ARTISTIC ABILITY. I am artistic and creative ok! just not in the area of DRAWING. I do craft well. anyway, lucky its midori to the rescue!! she helps me draw the tiger while i go attend to her other little kids. a simple exchange that solves probelms. NICE. and I have to admit. most of them are cute and VERY CREATIVE. no annoying rumours are true! HAAAAPPPY.
hehehe. anyway, time REALLY REALLY flies. Working with the kids are fun. All you have to do is put yourself in their position, be hyperactive, want to make people laugh, show creativity yet do an impressive job. We have to understand them to work with them and when we do get down to their level, you'll thrive on it. being young and carefree is so refreshing! I LIKE IT ALOT! ^_^ can't wait for the next meeting!

I WILL A-BLACKEN

It was a hot day, sun was shining VERY brightly. Scorching heat. Hot plate. These were what I was thinking, yet I go play netball? ARGH. wrong day! But oh well~ its for a good cause. My health and learning to actually play ball :D
1 - warm up. we toss balls with one hand and catch them with one hand.
2 - throwing with both hands. catching then snatching.
3 - FLINGING the ball by extending hand to maximum length behind u.
4 - flying through to air. haha. aka interception.
5 - PLAY BALL!
Positions :
GS - Goal shooter
GA - Goal attacker! *brutal!*
GD - Goal defender
GK - Goal keeper
WA - Wing attacker *wonder y they call it wing?*
WD - Wing defender
C - Centre
I was centre! wheeeeeee~ meaning its me who starts the ball. It wasn't such a bad game actually. Just the fact that it was hot and we are playing there under the hot sun. ISH. but my team won! yippeee! despite the fact that I have never played before in my life, know NOTHING about netball and have little coordination skills. WE WON!
I actually feel like I learned something! :) :) :) I learned how to intercept. its basically just flinging yourself infront of the ball, not caring whether it hits you in the face or not. I learned that being a centre you cannot step into that semi-circle and yea, basically I have more knowledge about netball! Ok. once again, I return home with my butt & legs hurting. GOTTA BE FIT TO PLAY NETBALL. and yea! i realise I like to pass the ball around too quickly. hehehe. having the ball in my hands just makes me feel as if people are just gonna start charging towards me. SCARY. so i pass like AS FAST AS I CAN.
GOAL FOR NEXT LESSON. - shooting! wanna be like michelle! score goals!yea yea yea!
P/S : I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT JOIN CHEERLEADING. you know what? they were like asking the girls to lie on the floor while this trainer guy would press his knee to their backs and pull them from the arms! BRUTAL! *phew phew phew* lucky didn't join! cheerleading is VISCIOUS

1st day Pf-ing

pathfindering! People have been asking me to go for so long and now I finally join. heehee. Eddy was sick, so I was him for a day. Shared about being HAPPY & CHEERFUL. haha. kind of suits me ya I know. :P picked robert, jerome, carolina, shaun and tiong up to go there. Today we did puppets which was fun yes, but a little bit sluggish for a start. Emm......so what we were supposed to do was to MANIFEST our creative juices into a puppet according to a certain storyline. We broke up into groups of 4 and started!!
Step 1 : Hemming. which personally? I think is useless. Gotta take it out in the end anyway.
Step 2 : MACHINE. hahaha. sounds so brutalStep 3 : start shaping the image of your puppet.
step 4 : UNKNOWN. time limit over.Haha. yes. No time to finish more. But there's always next week!

ANYWAY. we honestly didn't do much, just played around like any normal person renting a court on any normal day. EXERCISE which I haven't been doing for a long long time, taking tons of pics and spending time with friends. :D It was nice. The instructor kinda did an evaluation thing tho which was cool. And apparently Yi Tong knows him. (they are very chummy) em...what else. YEA. I know whats wrong with me. I NEED TO GAIN STAMINA. argh. Running around the court seems like fun yes? NO. Its tiring. DAMNIT i was feeling tired =_= what happened to me?!
